Warsaw, 3 June 2025 – Jonathan Workman, General Manager for Northern Europe Business Unit at Haleon, has been re-elected for a new term as President of the Association of the European Self-Care Industry (AESGP). His reappointment reaffirms the association’s commitment to continuity and strong leadership at a crucial moment for the self-care sector in Europe.
The AESGP General Assembly also confirmed the appointments of Traugott Ullrich (Schwabe Pharma) and Bernard Mauritz (Neprofarm, the Netherlands) as Vice-Presidents, and Jaume Pey (Anefp, Spain) as Treasurer of the association.
Following his re-election, Jonathan Workman expressed his appreciation for the continued confidence placed in him:
“It is a great honor to continue serving as President of AESGP as we build on six decades of achievements and address the challenges ahead. Together, we will keep advocating for safe, effective, and sustainable self-care solutions while constructively engaging on key policy issues such as the Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive, the revision of the EU pharmaceutical legislation, the targeted evaluation of Medical Devices Regulation, and the setting of harmonised maximum levels for vitamins and minerals. I look forward to working closely with our members and partners to enable responsible self-care in Europe and safeguard the competitiveness of our industry.”
About Jonathan Workman
Jonathan Workman is General Manager for the Northern Europe Business Unit (France, UK & Ireland, Benelux, and Nordics) at Haleon.
He is a seasoned industry leader with extensive experience in sales, commercial strategy, marketing, and general management. After 15 years at Procter & Gamble, he joined GSK Consumer Healthcare in 2010. Over the years, he has held senior leadership roles across multiple regions, including General Manager positions in Indochina, Southern Africa, Great Britain and Ireland, and Central and Eastern Europe.
Since January 2022, he has been leading the Northern Europe Business Unit at Haleon, the largest in EMEA/LatAm and the second largest globally. Jonathan has represented Haleon on the AESGP Board since 2022.
