Consortia
Ingredient consortia bring together interested parties active in the consumer health sector, under a single management and budget, for the purpose of preparing and/or generating information to support the continued use of an ingredient in self-care products, notably in the context of risk assessment and market access procedures towards the European Commission or other European regulatory/scientific bodies.
Consortia at AESGP
Ingredient consortia managed by AESGP are open to all market operators (including AESGP members and non-members) and are self-funded.
Information generated by a consortium is the property of its members and is generally not accessible to non-members.
Membership remains open throughout the life of a (pre-)consortium, subject to a fair contribution to the accumulated costs. Interested market operators may apply to join a pre-consortium or a consortium as a late joiner at any time.
Ongoing pre-consortia
AESGP has initiated discussions in the pre-consortium phase for the following ingredients:
- Ibuprofen: environmental risk assessment (ERA)
- Paracetamol: environmental risk assessment (ERA)
- Pseudoephedrine: environmental risk assessment (ERA)
If you are interested, as a non-member, in joining any of the above pre-consortium discussions prior to the signing of the respective consortium agreement, please get in touch with us at consortia@aesgp.eu for further information.
Ongoing consortia
AESGP has launched the consortia phase for the following ingredients:
- Acetylsalicylic Acid: environmental risk assessment (ERA)
- Dextromethorphan: environmental risk assessment (ERA)
If you are interested, as a non-member, in joining any of the above consortia, please get in touch with us at consortia@aesgp.eu for further information.
AESGP Matchmaking Platform
Looking for the right partners to collaborate on ERA data generation? AESGP’s Matchmaking Platform makes it simple. By centralizing key information, the platform helps members connect efficiently, avoid duplication, and accelerate compliance efforts. Once introduced, members have full control to shape and manage their own (pre-)consortia.
