The AESGP Matchmaking Platform provides a secure, competition-law-compliant environment for pharmaceutical companies to indicate or discover ownership or interest in Environmental Risk Assessment (ERA) data for OTC active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). It acts as a centralized and transparent hub, streamlining collaboration and supporting compliance across the industry.
The platform enables legally safe collaboration by sharing only categorical information about the existence of ERA data – never the data itself. This approach helps members meet evolving EU environmental and pharmaceutical regulations efficiently and responsibly.

- The platform covers 200 non-prescription medicine APIs, ensuring comprehensive visibility for all participating companies.
- By centralizing this information, AESGP enables members to identify potential partners for ERA data generation, thereby minimizing duplication of effort and supporting timely compliance. The responsibility for establishing and managing any pre-consortia rests entirely with the members once introductions have been made.

Subscription Price
- Registration Fee: €7,500 for non-members; AESGP direct members benefit from a €3,000 discount, paying €4,500.
- Renewal Fee: €3,500 for non-members; AESGP direct members pay €2,000 for each additional 12-month term.
- Important note: Discounts apply only to companies listed as AESGP direct members. Indirect membership via national associations does not qualify for these discounts.

Once you receive the instructions, you will be asked to:
- Complete the online registration form provided by AESGP.
- Designate a Matchmaking Contact person within your company.
- Accept the Terms & Conditions and Data Privacy Policy electronically and pay the applicable registration fee.
- List the APIs for which ERA data exists or is of interest for collaboration.

Who can access the platform?
Access is open to all pharmaceutical companies with a vested interest in OTC Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) covered by the API list. Each company has one account and nominates a Matchmaking Contact person for platform interactions.

Data is updated every time a new company joins the platform or upon request from a participating company to reflect changes in ERA data ownership or interest.

No, the platform does not currently offer an export function. All data is accessible online through the secure interface.
